Today was so awful!I was having a perfect day until Bruno ruined everything. He got lieutenant kostler get so mad and then  he did the most awful thing I have ever seen AND NOW He's Moving away.!!!!! I'm going to miss him so much but he said ill see him  again one day when we've rid the world of this darkness.I have decided I'm going to learn more about the war so I know what to talk about the next time we meet.Im never going to forgive Bruno for being such a hopeless case. I have no idea what I'm going to do now his gone its so boring here,That's the only thing that me and Bruno agree on.I a have this bad feeling that things are going to get worse before they get better.Ever since the fury came everything has been worse but what can I do about it absolutely nothing.

Week 2 part 1

By the end of the book I think the conflict between Gretel and Bruno will be resolved but more problems may be caused by the end of the war.Also by the end of the book I think that bruno's view will change about his father and what he's really doing in the nazi regime.
At the conclusion of the book I believe that Mother will leave father because of his work in Out- with I also predict that Gretel will become more mature and have a relationship with lieutenant Kotler. The clues that lead me to this conclusion was the fact that Gretel flirts with the lieutenant in many scenes of the book such as when Bruno goes looking of a tire of his swing. I also think that mother will leave because of the argument Bruno over heard between her and father, this leads us to believe that there is tension in their relationship.

The Boy In the striped pyjamas Week 1

When I began the novel I was enjoying how innocent the main character was but I found it strange how Bruno repeated his closest values to himself constantly. As the character develops he gains insight into the truth of why he moved to out with.the writing of the story is written in utter innocence of a 9 year old boy who narrates us through the story but can be unreliable because of his little understanding of the world.As we develop through the story more characters are revealed.One of these characters is Gretel Brunos older sister who is a hopeless case in his mind.Gretel knows more than she lets Bruno believe, we can see this when Bruno and her stare out the window at the all the people behind the wire at all the people in the striped pyjamas Gretel showed an outburst of emotion and ran into her room.This leads us to believe that she knows what awful things are going on in out with.
